Tears of joy: teenagers

Today I was honored to see hundreds of teenagers at Episcopal high school packing food for the hungry. I don’t really know why but I was really emotionally moved by so many teenagers working together to help other people. when I got there to pick the food up, there are hundreds of teens, equipment, supplies, loud exciting music, bells ringing every time a box was completed and lots and lots of cheering!! Over the course of two lunch periods they packed 10,140 meals for the hungry.

It almost felt kind of weird but I really did have to fight back tears multiple times. It is amazing what can be accomplished.
